Day 01
Depart from Kuala Lumpur at 0500 hours. All refreshments enroute at own
expense. Breakfast at own expense. On arrival at 1200 hours, proceed
to Park Headquarters for registration and briefing. On completion, commence
a 45 minutes boat journey to Pacau. On arrival, enjoy a 10 minutes short
walk to Kuala Jasin. Check in chalet or set up tent. Free at own leisure
until lunch. After lunch, commence trekking up Bukit Janing. Take note that
the vegetation changes as you achieve higher altitudes. At certain points,
you will find only the fan palms, native of Endau Rompin (Endaunisis …….) .
The guides (one of them will be an aborigine) will identify and explain the
use of certain herbs and plants. Much of the medicinal cure for ailments for
the aborigine are from the roots of plants. Return to base camp and free
until dinner. After dinner, night walk along the edge of the forest/river.
Day 02
After breakfast, trek for one and half hour to Upeh Guling waterfalls
(packed Lucnh will be provided). The wells formation on the rocks at this
waterfalls is unique and numerous a sight to behold. The rock climbing is
safe but exciting and depending on the water levels you may be able to enjoy
a water jacuzzi. On the way back stop at Blue Water lake for a swim in the
cool, crystal clear water along the Marong river. Return to Kuala Jasin
before night fall.
Day 03
After breakfast, free at own leisure. At 1000 hrs trek to Pacau for the boat
ride to Kampong Peta. Take time to explore the village and visit the local
handicraft shop. A simple traditional aborigine lunch will be served. and
after lunch commence journey back to Kuala Lumpur
